About Julie Foster

A cancer scare and a colostomy in 1995 prompted Julie Foster re-evaluate her life as a senior executive with Mercedes Benz. She retrained as an Aromatherapist (probably the only one with a class one HGV!) and spent the next fifteen years developing a personal care brand and practicing. In 2010 she sold to a fragrance house and enjoyed a break from business to enjoy late motherhood. She then studied for a post graduate degree in adult education and delivered voluntary maths teaching support to disengaged teenagers. She used essential oils and DIY cosmetics making to teach weights and measures and dosages. Their mood improved with exposure to the oils and for some maths became accessible and purposeful. In 2011 she was invited to China by her previous distributor to teach. Since then she has set up three schools and travels regularly to China in between delivering brand development projects for UK clients. Julie is a Principal Tutor for IFPA and NAHA and is a member of FHT and the British Chamber of Commerce.

“RELEASING TRAUMATIC MEMORIES WITH ESSENTIAL OILS CAN IMPROVE LIFE FLOW AND BALANCE” Carla Vescovi (BRAZIL)

Traumatic experiences can profoundly affect peoples’ lives. To deal and talk about them in therapy and with therapists can be very difficult and painful. In this workshop, Carla will be presenting the results of more than eight years of research and clinical care handling with release of traumatic memories across different age groups and genders. This pioneering work is conducted with very dilute essential oils, is gentle and non-invasive since the patient doesn’t have to relive/re-experience the pain to obtain release. The results of this approach are remarkable; life flows more easily and softly in all aspects (relationship, career, financial and others).

Sadly, the average age of onset is just 11 years. With the increasing prevalence of anxiety disorders in the USA and worldwide, efficacious treatment options afforded by natural medicine should be considered: Aromatherapy, and essential oil of Lavandula angustifolia in particular, have demonstrated significant evidence-based anxiolytic benefits.
